Martial Arts Routines

An Unbelievable Workout in one Package

What are routines? Routines are a series of techniques put together to form a pattern… similar to a dance routine. However unlike a dance routine, you are defending yourself against multiple attackers. This is similar to shadow boxing. Routines were put together to handle actual battlefield situations and were a great way for soldiers to practice their movements without the actual attacker.

Defeat Multiple Attackers      One of the principles of self-defense is awareness. Routines teach you awareness because you have to be move in multiple directions and defend yourself from multiple angles: front, rear and both sides. This action teaches you how to switch instantly from one attacker to another from a different direction.   Kung Fu routines move gracefully and smoothly from one movement to the next. This action teaches you the basic self-defense principle of Kung Fu… to move like the wind. Like a tornado, the wind moves quickly in a circle to overcome every obstacle in its way.

A Great Way to Stay in Shape      Routines are a great way to get into and stay in shape. Routines combine multiple techniques such as blocks, strikes and kicks. By performing these routines with intensity, you get a complete workout for your body… and mind. The physical techniques improve your muscle tone, strength, flexibility, cardiovascular and coordination. The pattern of techniques improves your concentration, awareness and discipline. Routines are an exercise for the mind as well as the body.
